-Soupendipity, Minestrone + Traditional Meat Sauce & Meatballs

Day 30, Meal 60

My Rating:

My Rating:For my 60th meal, I am trying yet another soup first: Minestrone. This is described as “Fresh vegetables, beans and pasta in a light tomato broth – a vegan classic”. I am pairing that with Traditional Meat Sauce & Meatballs: You might remember from earlier when I mentioned I’m used to being a creature of habit and tend to stick with what I know and what I like, and deviating from that norm worked REALLY well for me with the Zuppa Tuscana. Well, sadly, that is NOT the case with this soup. I can’t quite put my finger on […]

-Soupendipity, Zuppa Toscana + Creamy Mushroom & Grilled Chicken

Day 30, Meal 59

My Rating:

My Rating:Next Soup up on the list is Zuppa Toscana, another choice I’ve somehow never had before: As a creature of habit, I’ve ALWAYS played it safe and stuck to what I’ve known and liked, which for me, meant always just ordering Pasta e Fagioli.. Well let me tell you, I am SO glad I went outside of my comfort zone and started trying all sorts of new options. This is my new FAVORITE soup. It’s just so good. It is described as “Spicy Italian sausage, fresh kale and russet potatoes in a creamy broth”. I am so surprised how […]

-Soupendipity, Chicken & Gnocchi + Five Cheese Marinara & Crispy Shrimp Fritta

Day 29, Meal 58

My Rating:

My Rating:For my second Soupendipity meal, I’m going with a soup I’ve never had before, Chicken & Gnocchi. I’m going to pair it with Five Cheese Marinara and Crispy Shrimp Fritta. Oh and don’t forget a whopping 4 Breadsticks: This was my first time having Chicken & Gnocchi, and I enjoyed it very much. It was even a great vehicle for dipping the breadsticks in! The Five Cheese Marinara is also fantastic for dipping, for both the breadsticks AND the shrimp. I actually ordered the Shrimp IN the Sauce, and I’m glad it accidentally came separate, as I’m sure they […]

-Soupendipity, Pasta e Fagioli + Asiago Garlic Alfredo & Crispy Chicken Fritta

Day 29, Meal 57

My Rating:

My Rating:It’s new theme week! Today we start Soupendipity. One of the staple items at Olive Garden is their line of soups, and as equally if not even more important are their delicious breadsticks. This week I get to enjoy both! And besides dipping the breadsticks in the soups, I’ve recently discovered just how amazing those sticks are when dipped in the sauces! And I’m finally add a protein of choice, just because, why not. I’m beginning with my go-to soup of choice, Pasta e Fagiole, which is described as “White and red beans, ground beef, fresh tomatoes and tubetti […]
