My Rating:I’m getting ready for my road-trip over to Cocoa, FL for the Space Coast Marathon tomorrow but first I need some lunch! I’m going with one of my leftovers, Whole Grain Linguine, Alfredo & Crispy Shrimp Fritta [Half] from Day 44, Meal 106. Here was the original meal: …and here is the remaining half, in frozen fashion: …and here it is, ready to eat after being defrosted in the microwave: This was REALLY GOOD, despite not looking nearly as pretty. The big weakness with the Alfredo-based sauces is how the sauce gets absorbed, BUT the flavor is still there, thankfully. […]

Day 55, Meal 136
My Rating:It’s Pasta Pass Eve, a very sad night for ALL Pasta Pass recipients. The Never Ending Pasta Bowl promotion ends tomorrow, November 19th at close of business (10 PM), which means our cards concurrently expire at that very moment. But since my card is still valid, I’m ready for my final meal of the day, 3 of 3, on today’s only theme: “Double², On the Rocks”, This consists of getting 2 different sauces & 2 different toppings, + each meal I’ll have one of the new Handcrafted Limonata drinks. Last up for the Limonata selection is Kiwi-Melon Limonata: This is described […]
Day 51, Meal 122
My Rating:New theme day! As I did 50/50 Sauce Week back on Week 2, and did Double Meat during on Week 5, it’s time to get creative with the Pasta! This is 8 Weeks of PASTA after-all. We are going to do 50/50 Pasta, combining 2 of the 7 Pasta options together. To start off, I am going with Rigatoni/Whole Grain Linguine, mixed with Asiago Garlic Alfredo & Crispy Shrimp Fritta: This probably would have looked prettier if the Pasta was mixed together, but it still came out great! Rigatoni on one side, Whole Grain Linguine on the other. I was […]
Day 50, Meal 119
My Rating:The theme today and today only is Add-Ons! I’ll be getting paid substitutions for my Never Ending Pasta Bowl combinations, and I’m starting with Sauteed Shrimp, paired with Whole Grain Linguine and Five Cheese Marinara [Half]: This was just okay for me. I’d give it a 6.5/10. The Sauteed Shrimp however at least doesn’t cost a fortune, at $3.49, and it’s ONLY 60 calories. Although even the Crispy Shrimp Fritta is a low 160 calories! Here is the Ziosk showing a cost savings of $10.59 (ignore the Shrimp Fritta total as it’s incorrect): Here is the nutritional information for […]
Day 49, Meal 117
My Rating:After a fantastic Record Breaking Day in Burlington, NC with #PastaPreacher Alan Martin, it’s time to head back to Florida, on a 600+ mile road trip. As I didn’t leave NC until almost 5pm, I should get home around 3am. It’s going to be a long night! As I have to make 2 stops along the way for Meals 2 & 3 today, I’m stopping at the same location off I95 as I did on Friday coming up, over at Florence, SC. I’m going with Whole Grain Linguine, Asiago Garlic Alfredo & Meatballs [Half]: This was absolutely fantastic. Food came […]
