Day 48, Veterans Day Meal 1

Day 48, Veterans Day Meal 1

My Rating:

It’s Veterans Day today, and it’s the first day I won’t be using my Pasta Pass. I will however still be dining at Olive Garden, for 4 visits and 4 meals. Olive Garden provides a fantastic Veterans Day menu, so I will get to have a new variety of meals outside of the Never Ending Pasta Bowl. Here is the menu:

First location up is where I’ll be having the record breaking meal tomorrow, at Burlington, NC:

I was actually the first person in the restaurant today, as I know many Olive Gardens are packed at opening since this is such a fantastic promotion and it’s always great seeing lots and lots of Veterans using their very generous offer. Since I can already get Spaghetti with Meat Sauce with my Pasta Pass, I’m going to focus on the 4 other entrees. First up is Lasagna Classico:

This was really good, as I’ve long been a fan of the Lasagna at Olive Garden. I’ve had it tons times over the years, and it’s always consistently delicious. 9/10.

Here is the receipt showing a cost savings of $14.93:

Jeff

After losing 70 pounds this year, I'm going on a journey of enjoying carbs and dining out twice a day for the next 8 weeks, for free, while still living a healthy lifestyle. I'll be at the gym daily, and my goal is to not put on a single pound. "Everything in moderation, including moderation" - Oscar Wilde
